Workshop description

Every last Friday during the summer, the Triglav National Park organises Friday Afternoons in the Park, which are primarily intended for families and their exploration of nature. Workshops combine fun and new experiences, families are able to spend some quality time in nature. The main emphasis is put on exploring and admiring natural wonders, strengthening the relationship with nature, creative work, socialising and communication. Everyone can participate at these workshops, since they are adapted to all ages. Guides take the participants to the forests, on meadows and hills, to the lake or brooks, and try to present and demonstrate the environment in an interesting way. Children like to explore, and together with their parents, they learn and share new experiences. The care for the nature and how to behave in nature are the core guidelines of the workshops. Every year, we try to explore different places; workshops are upgraded in accordance with visitors' wishes.
