Route description
The circular route will familiarise you with the surroundings of Lake Bohinj and Stara Fužina, where you can observe a large variety of fascinating bird species in this cultural landscape. Of the more interesting species, in this area there are numerous red-backed shrikes (Lanius collurio), and you may also be able to observe the redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus) and grey wagtail (Motacilla cinerea). On the scree slopes above the village you might encounter Bonelli's warbler (Phylloscopus bonelli) and the rock bunting (Emberiza cia).
