MOUNTAINEERING AND ALPINE CLIMBING

The area of Bohinj stretches from Mount Triglav, Bogatin to the lower Bohinj mountains, offering interesting and diverse tours to mountaineers and alpine climbers.  Here are the main starting points and some of the most beautiful tours (difficulty level: easy and medium): Starting point: Stara Fužina - Pršivec (1761 m; across Vogar; approx. 4 h) - one of the most spectacular views, easily accessible. - Triglav Lakes Valley (across Vogar and the mountains of Fužina, approx. 6 h) - the seven lakes represent a unique mountain world in the heart of the Triglav National Park, rich with natural sights (lakes, flowers, lonesome trees and rocky areas) and mythology. - Mala Tičarica (2071 m) - the peak gives a stunning view (especially of the Dvojno jezero lake and the hut by the Triglav lakes) and is an interesting addition to the tours in this area of the Julian Alps. Starting point: Srednja vas  - Triglav (2864 m; across Uskovnica and through Čiprije - Trstje, 2- day tour).     Starting point: Bohinjska Bistrica and Soriška planina - Črna prst (1844 m; across Za Liscem mountain pasture, approx. 3.5 h) - extremely rich flora and breathtaking views of the foot of Triglav mountain range, Baška grapa and Triglav mountain range.  - Ratitovec (1672 m; from Soriška planina, approx. 3 h) - comfortable walk with superb views. - peaks above Soriška planina (Travh - 1540 m, Lajnar - 1547 m, Slatnik - 1518 m, Možic - 1602 m) - peaks with quick and easy access.    Starting point: Ski Hotel, Vogel - Šija (1880 m), Rodica (1966 m), Vogel (1922 m) - spectacular views, easy access, from 1.5 to 2.5 h. - from the hotel to Komna - although the route does not pass the peaks, the diverse mountain terrain offers a wonderful experience as well (5-hour walk, additional 2 h to "Koča pri Savici" hut).    Starting point: "Koča pri Savici" hut  - 1-hour walk from Ukanc to the hut. - Bogatin (1977 m; across Komna, approx. 4.5 h) - fine view and easy access, one of the classic tours. - to the Triglav Lakes Valley across Komarča (very steep) to Vršac nad Zadnjico (one of the finest views in the Julian Alps).   Accommodation possibilities : - mountain huts - specializirani ponudniki za pohodnike                BOOK NOW / INQUIRY Več informacij, možnost nakupa literature, posredovanje storitev in nastanitev: Turizem Bohinj, TD Bohinj, LD turizem
