RainfallWithout rainfall and snowfall there would be no streams, rivers and lakes. What is highly characteristic of the Bohinj region, are the differences in the distribution of precipitation. The ridges running from west and southwest experience a considerable change in the amount of precipitation in the direction towards the valley. The average maximum rainfall of about 4000 litres per year is reduced to as little as 2000 litres at the end of the Sava Bohinjka River in Radovljica.
