Bus to Pokljuka (line 7)
Pokljuka is an attractive destination for many day trippers and hikers. They most often choose to visit by private car. This is why we want public bus transport to help reduce air pollution in the sensitive Alpine environment, protect vegetation, reduce noise and avoid the problems of heavy traffic and parking.
Public transport gives us more time to observe nature without having to return to the same starting point.
From Bohinjska Bistrica to Pokljuka by free bus
- tourist bus from Bohinj to Pokljuka
- runs four times a day from 24. 6. until 17. 9. 2023.
- for tourists and local people
- unrestricted crossing and thus access to the various attractions of the area
- It is also intended for hikers who go to the Triglav Mountains for several days and return to the valley by other routes.
Bike transfer with Pokljuka bus
The bus to Pokljuka also allows the transport of bicycles on a trailer (10 pcs).
Non-electric bicycles have a priority for transport.
From Bled to Pokljuka by free bus
- A shuttle bus will also take you to Pokljuka from Bled.

Priority on the Pokljuka bus (line 7) is given to passengers whose final bus stops are Rudno polje, Goreljek, Mrzli studenec, Gorjuše and Koprivnik. For transport to Lake Bohinj, please use lines 1 and 2 and other public transport lines in Bohinj.
The free organised shuttle services are not intended for groups.
