Height above sea level: 552 m - 1480 m
Kobla is the only ski resort in Slovenia accessible by train. Since the larger part of Kobla is substantially lower then Vogel, a snowmaking system was introduced in the last few years. (The first ski lifts begin on the outskirts of Bohinjska Bistrica, the urban centre of the Bohinj region!) Under suitable conditions, the major ski trails can be snow-covered in three days. The Kobla slopes are suitable for all types of skiers, but the greatest enjoyment will be kad by those who relish long and fast runs.
