Route description

Transport to the start of the tour below Šavnik. Along the old trail to the abandoned Alpine pasture, crossing the old Rapallo border and ascent to the peak of Šavnik. Descent on the trail towards the Bača pass. Tour of the Italian fortification on the steep rock face. Ascent to Kobla. Down towards Ravenska planina, through the fascinating mountain forest below Šoštar and on towards the scree slope of Rušni vrh. Along a switchback trail towards Žrelo, down towards the Za Liscem mountain pasture and back towards Bohinjska Bistrica.
