Route description
We start the trail under the railway crossing and proceed across the bridge to the right bank of the river. After the bridge we turn right to the waterfall Grmečica – when the water level high, is this a mighty waterfall, but when the water level is low, the waterfall trickles in a stream and is lost in the gravel pond. After visiting the waterfall we return back to the bridge across the Sava and continue to the stream Plavžarica. The ruins of furnaces, where iron ore was once fluxed, stand next to it.
We return the same way back to the bus station in Nomenj.
