Route description

Vodnik's Viewpoint, 1017 m, is a small rise above the village of Koprivnik on the edge of the Pokljuka plateau. We will walk on this slope on a cart track that used to be the main connection between the villages of Koprivnik, Gorjuše and the valley.

The viewpoint offers a view of the upper Bohinj valley and the lake basin. You will also see the lower Bohinj valley over the Senožeti woodland that is veiled by the Šavnica and Rudnicahills.

Upon our return a van will be waiting for us in the village Koprivnik and will transport us back to the meeting point (transportation costs are not included in the price).
