This type of water sport is especially favourite with the friends of white water since rafting the rapids is an unforgettable experience. - Canyoning
The wonderful alpine world of gorges, where the river has cut amazingly deep courses offers an adrenaline sport – canyoning to all adventure and pleasure lovers. You will enjoy descending and overcoming the falls with an expert guide using the latest up-to-date equipment. One of the most popular climbing centres in Slovenia - Bohinj - has been constructed systematically. A number of climbing sites (Pod Skalco, Bellevue, Bitnje, Bohinjska Bela) and a multitude (more than 200) of quality prepared routes of all degrees of difficulty are available to all, beginners, families and those who seek the most challenging courses of the tenth degree (UIAA).

Bohinj surely needs no introduction as a starting-point for mountain hikes. Triglav alone, the highest mountain in Slovenia, can be reached from three directions (Dolina Sedmerih Jezer, Voje yalley, Pokljuka). Walks across the mountains of Bohinj, exploring the trails of the First World War, the ridge of the Spodnje Bohinjske Gore mountains with their fairy-tale beauty are just a few suggestions. First-grade maps, marked paths, guidebooks all enable most mountaineers to take a trip by themselves. WINTER:  | - Alpine skiing
In The Bohinj valley three ski centres are situated: Kobla (400m distance from our Pension), Vogel (9km) in Soriška planina (12km). - Cross-country skiing
For cross-country skiers there is a FIS course avaliable from Bohinjska Bistrica up to village Polje. There are also prepared cross-country courses at Ribcev Laz and Stara Fužina and on all Ski centres.
