Location
You can find the house standing on an ideal and peaceful location,
only 5 minutes away from the Bohinj Lake. It lies in the central part of The
Triglav National Park, directly by the Savica River. If you want to get there
by car you have to drive past the Hotel Zlatorog and ignore a traffic sign that
says 'forbidden for all vehicles (except for the owners)'. Then you cross a
wooden bridge and drive straight ahead. When the asphalt road comes to its end,
you turn left at the first crossroad and follow a yellow board with a 'Žito'
sign. Only 100 meters more and you are by our house.
It takes you 45 minutes by foot to get to the Savica Waterfall and 15 minutes
to Vogel gondola. There is a store (market) in Ukanc, Hotel Zlatorog and some
restaurants and pensions.
