Viewpoint Peč

At 720 metres above sea level, viewpoint Peč is a fantastic location for recreation and photography enthusiasts.

The Peč viewpoint is located 50 metres below the top of the Peč hill, which divides Bohinj into the Upper and Lower Bohinj Valley. In all seasons, it offers a beautiful and easily accessible view of the Bohinj valley with the Komna plateau, Lake Bohinj, Ribčev Laz and the surrounding peaks. To reach the viewpoint from the Lev concrete bridge in Stara Fužina, it takes about 20 minutes of leisurely walking along a well-maintained and well-marked forest trail, with an altitude difference of almost 200 metres. On the way, you can also enjoy views of the Stara Fužina and Triglav.

You can extend your trip to hill Rudnica.

If you want to extend your trip, follow the marked trail to Rudnica, the summit of which lies at 946 metres above sea level. To reach the top of Rudnica, you will walk along a well-maintained forest path, which occasionally widens into a forest road. From Peć, you will have a good hour of easy walking with a few short climbs. During the walk, you will enjoy the view of the Stara Fužina, Lake Bohinj and the Bohinj-Tolmin mountains, and at the top you will have a view of the Upper Bohinj Valley, its mountains, Senožeta and the surrounding peaks.
