In this musical performance you will be able to listen to well-known and less collected compositions for violin and piano that were created during the time of Beethoven’s life at the transition from Viennese classics to romance. In addition to Beethoven’s violin sonata op. 23 you will be able to listen to the sonatas of his then rival Anton Eberl, who was released in Vienna the same year and at the same publishing house as Beethoven. The program includes works by Beethoven’s teacher Joseph Haydn and the early departed Jan Václava Voříšek and Franz Schubert.
