THE JULIAN ALPS HIKING TRAIL

The Julian Alps Association has traced more than 300 kilometres of the Julian Alps Trail. On the trail, hikers will experience, see and feel amazing natural sights and local features, rarely found in general tourist offer. The trail is appropriate for all walks of life, also for hikers with a lower fitness level, usually required for mountain hiking.

Seeing all faces of Mt Triglav

The connection trail encircles the Julian Alps and enables hikers to enjoy it’s most astonishing parts, viewing the peaks from the outskirts of the Julian Alps and exploring the various types of landscape.

Like a lighthouse, Mt Triglav accompanies hikers from afar. The trail does not reach this mighty summit but rather allows the hiker to admire it from all sides of the sky.
