Lecture will present us how to interpret all information we get from natural and cultural heritage. Interpreters will present practices from Slovenia and Scotland
Mag. Caroline Eccles will give a presentation about the €13 million Flows to the Future Project in the north of Scotland conserving and restoring peatlands of global importance. This workshop will be ideal for anyone with an interest in the management and restoration of wetland habitats (including peatbogs) and/or an interest in the interpretation and raising awareness of an important natural environment.
The presentation will present the successful design of an environmental interpretive trail along the Iška River in the Ljubljansko barje Nature Park. The interpretive package created consists of a nature trail, interactive e-lessons, and a bank of field exercises. The mix of various interpretive methods encourages visitors to the site and those learning about it on the internet to better understand landscape processes. This contributes to more comprehensive understanding of the landscape and a positive attitude toward it, as well as to preserving its cultural heritage
