Theme of this lecture is Story of our Sun: how much time is left?

Triglav National Park and Vogel Ski Center are organizing the Observing the Night Sky
Workshop. The lectures are held by PhD Prof Tomaž Zwitter and the observations by Tilen

The Sun is the source of light and heat which prevents life on Earth from freezing out very
quickly. Is there any danger out there, our the Sun will just keep going? How do we know
how much time is left for the Sun, what we know in general about lives of the stars? The
answers turn out to be remarkably simple and reassuring. So if there is any danger out there
it is humans who are to be held responsible.
The lecture is followed by astronomical observations.
