The most known cave in Bohinj is the Govic Cave, where Govic dragon sleeps. It emits fire in the form of a waterfall, which occurs only at heavy rainfall. In dry periods the cave can be explored. In this way, you will be able to see for yourself, if a real dragon sleeps in the cave. You will be able to view a wonderful small lake at the lowest point of the precipice.
At the entry to the Govic Cave, a caving instructor will provide appropriate equipment and you will descend on a rope into 107 m deep precipice. The cave has three long descends. A small lake is at the bottom of the cave. Due to descends and climbing, the programme is suitable only for physically well-prepared guests. We recommend that the visitors have 2nd difficulty level climbing experience.
