On Saturday, June 7, 2025, foraging workshops will take place simultaneously all over Slovenia!
Led by experienced Slovenian foragers and mushroom pickers, the workshops will introduce participants to the world of wild food, proper plant identification, and sustainable foraging. Our goal is to spread knowledge about edible plants around us while emphasizing respect for nature and ethical foraging.
Participants will incorporate the gathered wild plants into lunch preparation, learning various processing and cooking techniques to create an authentic wild feast.
Monika Stojc, an anthropologist, scout, and founder of the brand Polna cajna, has been leading foraging workshops and creating content on wild food for years. She invites you to explore Bohinj’s edible treasures with her. Together, you’ll discover, identify, and sustainably forage wild plants—ending the experience with a unique wild tasting.
