Ensemble.si is made up of outstanding Slovenian musicians who have continued their artistic journeys abroad and today hold prominent positions in renowned orchestras and institutions across Europe. They are united by a shared desire for chamber music-making and a deep commitment to maintaining musical ties with Slovenia.

Richard Strauss: String Sextet from the opera Capriccio, Op. 85
Frank Bridge: String Sextet in E-flat major, H.107
Johannes Brahms: String Sextet No. 2 in G major, Op. 36

Ensemble.si will present a richly varied programme of late Romantic music for string sextet. The evening opens with Strauss’s sensual prelude to Capriccio, followed by the refined sonic landscape of British composer Frank Bridge, and concludes with Brahms’s Second Sextet — a deeply personal, technically sophisticated, and emotionally charged masterpiece.
