The documentary highlights the life of Dr Tone Cevc, a giant of ethnological science, a researcher, an expert on the Alpine world and a man who is greatly responsible for the start of archaeological research in the high mountains in Slovenia. The archaeological collection Človek v Alpah – “Man in the Alps” (2006) is his last major contribution to the understanding of mountain settlement or the presence of man in the high mountains. The film was made by Janja Železnikar and Andreja Humar Gruden. The screening will be accompanied by a presentation of the making of the film.⁣
