Foraging festival; guided workshop in Bohinj

The workshop will take place partly in the Triglav National Park, where special rules apply to preserve the exceptional national and biodiversity. The workshop will take place along the northern side of the Črna Prst to Orožnova koča mountain hut and along the botanical trail above it. It is expected to take more than 2 hours. The workshop is also part of the International Wild Flower Festival.
“We are biologist Andreja Papež Kristanc and biologist and doctor Luka Kristanc. We are interested in nature in the broadest sense, especially in systematic and applied botany, phytotherapy, ecotherapy and nature conservation. We run workshops on edible plants, in-depth herbalism training, and we collaborate with the Faculty of Health Sciences in Novo mesto on the study of Phytotherapy and develop innovative solutions to increase biodiversity and the therapeutic added value of small farms – since 2018, a 4-ha therapeutic and educational farm has been operating within the Wild Garden in Kozjansko. Luka is the author of the book “Autochthonous edible and medicinal plants of Slovenia”.
The price of the picking workshop, in addition to which you also receive the e-book, is € 30 per person. If 2 people attend the workshop, the price is € 50.
