SUMMARY:Otepanje in Srednja vas\, Češnjica and Jereka
DESCRIPTION:On St. Stephen’s Day (December 26) and New Year’s Eve (December 31)\, the Upper Bohinj Valley will once again come alive with the traditional procession of Otepovci – masked carolers who bring the spirit of ancient holiday traditions. These groups of Otepovci\, or “Šeme” as locals call them\, dressed in special costumes\, visit homes in the villages of Srednja Vas\, Studor\, Stara Fužina\, Bohinjska Češnjica\, and Jereka. \nThrough greetings\, songs\, and New Year’s wishes\, they keep this unique custom alive. During their visits\, locals show gratitude and hospitality by offering gifts such as sausages\, eggs\, drinks\, or small change. \nThe Otepovci procession begins on December 26 in Stara Fužina and Studor\, then continues on New Year’s Eve in Bohinjska Češnjica\, Srednja vas\, and Jereka\, once again bringing good fortune and holiday cheer with them. \n\n\nIf you take a walk through the village that day\, you might even meet them during “Otepanje”.

At the age of five\, she made her first appearance with the RTV Slovenia Big Band at the popular children’s festival Veseli tobogan\, which marked the beginning of her rich and diverse musical career. As a child\, she regularly participated in radio recordings and television projects for RTV Slovenia\, which gave her an insight into the professional world of music. Alongside bassist Jošt Lampret\, she represented Slovenia on May 12 and 13\, 2025\, as a soloist at the 60th anniversary of the Euroradio Jazz Orchestra\, conducted by Matjaž Mikuletič. She received her formal music education at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet and is continuing her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. DESCRIPTION:TamburaTeam consists of four men from Vipava and its surroundings. We have been active since August 2016 and still get along well. Since electricity is expensive\, we swear by acoustics\, and nature is said to feel better that way too. Stylistically\, we are as scattered as a camp of caravans in a storm\, and we like to spice up our lyrics a little. \nIf you find yourself at our concert\, let loose. We’ll definitely enjoy ourselves. \nAbout TamburaTeam: \nTamburaTeam consists of four young guys from Vipava and the surrounding area. We are an acoustic band consisting of drums\, double bass\, acoustic guitar\, and brač (tamburica). We have been playing together since August 2016 and still get along well. We don’t have a defined style\, but our music has a distinct ethnic influence. We presented our music at Mladi Rokadi 2023\, where we were declared the winners of the competition\, and at ŠouRock 2023\, where we made it to the final evening and received awards for best guitarist and drummer. At the end of September 2023\, we released our first album\, Se N’ Mudi\, which we announced with the previously released singles Jamr and Ko te jebe. In March 2024\, we recorded and released the intro for the cooking show Večerja za 5\, which aired on Planet TV\, and in June we released the single Prokrastinator\, announcing our second album\, which was released in October 2025 with the previously released singles The whole world and Pojma nimm. \nThis event is free of charge\, welcome!
