It is surrounded by former shepherds\u2019 huts, now converted into holiday cottages. Built by the Bohinj\u2013Srednja vas Mountaineering Club, it was opened in 1955 and has since been renovated and energy-updated. The hut has electricity, heating and running water.<\/p>\n<p>The dining room offers 60 seats; there are 13 beds in 7 rooms and 17 additional beds in shared dormitories. One room is adapted for disabled guests. Warm and cold meals, drinks and storage for equipment are available. The hut is a proud holder of the Green Key sustainability label, proving its commitment to environmentally responsible operations.<\/p>\n<p>Beautiful views open toward the surrounding peaks, and the area is a starting point for many hiking routes and connections to nearby mountain huts.
