The connecting ski tour from Lepena over Lan\u017eevica to Bohinj is a real winter trip through the heart of the Julian Alps. Climb past the largest lake in the Slovenian mountains, which at the end of April still sleeps under snow and ice; past the ruins of \u00a0Italian barracks, silently testifying to the transience of borders and our envisions of the world; to the top of Lan\u017eevica which reigns over the mysterious Komna, a landscape of unique shapes and unique light. Ski down through soft and rounded forms of high mountain karst terrain to the friendly and always hospitable Dom na Komni hut. Through the steep beech trees below the hut, descend into the valley – to the legendary source of Savica and on to the shores of Lake Bohinj. It is very interesting to observe that in April and May, despite the similar altitude, spring in Bohinj comes at least fourteen days later than on the Primorska side.<\/p>\n

The described tour is not exactly the first choice for those seeking speed and sharply cut turns.
