All of you who like stories, can take a few hours or the whole day to walk this picturesque trail. The majority of main sights of Bohinj, like Lake Bohinj, the Church of St John the Baptist, Oplen House, Studor hayracks, Alpine Dairy Farming Museum, Bohinj History Museum, etc. are along the trail or near it. It is a long, but undemanding trail, without any steep ascents or descents. The first part of the trail runs over Dobrava, a low and plateau-like landscape that runs along the Lower Valley between Bistrica and Polje. It goes uphill south of the Sava Bohinjka River, like some kind of foothills of the lower Bohinj mountain range. The barren land is highlighted by typical hazel trees and small forests.
