Over time, they can detach from the substrate and appear on the surface as greenish or brownish clumps, strands, or slimy deposits. <\/p><p data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"946\">Anatoxins are present primarily within the algae itself and are released into the surrounding water in minimal quantities.<\/p><h4 data-section-id=\"1w3fquz\" data-start=\"948\" data-end=\"977\">Water Quality Monitoring<\/h4><p data-start=\"979\" data-end=\"1269\">The microbiological quality of the water at the official swimming areas of <strong data-start=\"1039\" data-end=\"1066\">Fu\u017einski Bay and Ukanc<\/strong> is regularly monitored during the swimming season. Monitoring of inland waters takes place between June 15 and August 31, and the latest results are published on the ARSO website.   <\/p><p data-start=\"1271\" data-end=\"1494\">Lake Bohinj is a natural and dynamic environment, so conditions can vary between different parts of the shore and from day to day. We recommend that visitors stay informed about the latest announcements and follow any on-site warnings. <\/p><h4 data-section-id=\"glrdup\" data-start=\"1496\" data-end=\"1521\">Recommendations for Swimmers<\/h4><p data-start=\"1523\" data-end=\"1668\">Before entering the water, check its condition and avoid areas where clumps, flakes, or slimy deposits are visible on the surface, on rocks, or along the shore.<\/p><p data-start=\"1670\" data-end=\"1948\">Do not touch the seaweed, and be careful not to ingest it. Extra caution is advised with small children, who may put some of the seaweed in their mouths while playing in the water. If ingestion cannot be prevented, choose another part of the beach.  <\/p><h4 data-section-id=\"1jatguq\" data-start=\"1950\" data-end=\"1981\">Information for Dog Owners<\/h4><p data-start=\"1983\" data-end=\"2162\">Before allowing your dog to go into the water, check to see if there are any thickets visible in the water or along the shore. Do not allow your dog to drink water near thickets, ingest sediment, or lick moss-covered rocks. <\/p><p data-start=\"2164\" data-end=\"2403\">If your dog has come into contact with the plant, rinse it off with clean water. If you notice any unusual symptoms, such as excessive drooling, trembling, muscle spasms, weakness, or vomiting, seek veterinary care as soon as possible. <\/p><p data-start=\"2405\" data-end=\"2569\">Animals are not allowed to swim in <strong data-start=\"2431\" data-end=\"2458\">the Fu\u017eina Bay and Ukanc<\/strong> bathing areas.
