The change in altitudinal zones means that we can expect a diverse range of species, with the high mountains probably being the most interesting. Rare species on the trail include the grouse, and on the Vi\u0161evnik we will see the white-tailed ptarmigan, and among the common species we will see the grey and mountain warbler, the tree pipit, the hen harrier, and many others.
