Bohinj is famous for its colourful meadows. But where and what can we really pick? We invite you to go for a walk with the forager Katja Rebolj.

You will learn about wild flowers and medicinal weeds that can help you with health issues and make delicious meals. There will also be discussions on sustainable foraging and environmental protection. We will learn about some of the plants that we protect and do not pick for culinary purposes. Others, more common plants, will be used in snacks we will prepare on the go. The workshop will take place in all weathers.

Dr Katja Rebolj is a professional forager and author of popular foraging courses. Her bestselling books are Nature Always Wins and Medicinal Weeds: Plants of the Future. She is co-organiser of the Slovenian Pickers’ Festival.
