The Rupnik Piano Trio made its first public appearance at the Manca recital in June 2010 in this very church. In the autumn of the same year, the Rupnik Trio began its work, first under the tutelage of Prof. Kaja Stražar, and later Prof. Urša Kržič at the Vrhnika Music School. From 2013 to 2016 he worked at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet under the tutelage of Prof. Tomaž Lorenz, and from 2017 to 2020 at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana under the tutelage of Prof. Janez Podlesek.

The trio can boast numerous public performances, solo concerts and first prizes with the maximum number of points at national and international level.
5th Slovenian Instrumental Chamber Group Competition “Primož Ramovš” 2015, 1st prize, International Competition “Svirel” 2016, Goriška Brda, 100 points and gold finalist, International Competition “Alpe Adria 2018”, Majano, 2nd prize (the first prize was not awarded), International Competition “Svirel” 2016, Goriška Brda, 100 points and gold finalist, International Competition Alpe Adria 2018, Majano, 2nd prize (the first prize was not awarded).

The trio has presented solo concerts in the framework of the series “Musical Sundays in the Union with Prof. Lorenzo” (2013), Musical Youth of Ljubljana 2015, 2017, 2022 of the Musical Youth of Slovenia (2018), International series “Young Virtuosi” of the Ljubljana Festival (2014, 2016), Imaga Sloveniae (2016), Lent Festival (2018), Bled Festival (2018), Gallus festa Idrija (2015) and others. He has also given solo concerts in Devin, Rome, Bad Hofgastein and Vienna. In December 2019, they performed at the St Nicholas Charity Concert on TV SLO1. The Rupnik Piano Trio is the recipient of the Škerjanc Award of the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet for outstanding academic achievements and merits in the artistic promotion of the school in 2015.
