You are invited to a handicraft experience in the Bohinj House, this time with a focus on embroidery and hand embroidery.

A presentation on embroidery and basic embroidery techniques with Mrs Irma Zupanc will take place on Tuesday, 26th March 2024 at 16.30 in the Bohinj House.

The content of the presentation on embroidery will include:

Choosing suitable fabrics and patterns for embroidery
Calculating the amount of fabric for the desired product
Demonstration of correct cutting and preparation of fabric
Drawing a design on the fabric
Preparing coloured threads according to the drawn pattern
Demonstrate the semi-finished and finished product
Correcting any mistakes
How to wash and care for embroidery.
