Tomaž Hostnik (1992) is the author of more than a hundred compositions in the Slovene language, including complete works by the bands Vudlenderji, Drajnarjuva vampa, Hostnik pa Krečič, music for children, film, theatre, etc.He was awarded the Golden Canto at the 14th International Festival of Songwriting (Kantfest), and the Golden Canto at the 39th International Festival of Songwriting (Kantfest). Melodies of the Sea and the Sun with the song “Irena”, which received the highest number of votes via telephone voting, and at Popevka 2019, and 2021, he won the awards for best lyrics. As a pianist, poet and chansonnier, he regularly performs both at home and abroad.

This time he will be performing on his own, with a hefty selection of his own compositions, both festival and lesser-known. So it promises to be an evening of boundless youthful energy and evergreen melodies that will make you feel as if the good old eighties never really ended.
