Presentation of paleoecological and arheological research in the Julian Alps – Bohinj

4 interesting lectures on palaeoecological and archaeological research in the Julian Alps will be held in two dates, co-organised by the Triglav National Park Public Institute, Arheoalpe, the Bohinj Institute for Culture, Education and Tourism, the Institute of Archaeology of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences, the Department of Geology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering of the University of Ljubljana, the Jožef Stefan Institute and the Bohinj Tourist Board.The lectures will be held in the same timeframe. The lecturers will talk about ancient traces of human presence in the mountains, research on sediments and other treasures in glacial lakes, and palaeoecological and archaeological evidence of climate change.
