PGD Bohinjska Bistrica will celebrate its 140th anniversary in 2024. Therefore, they decided to divide the celebration into 3 days:

 – 28.6.2024: Formal session at the Joža Ažmana House of Culture
 – 29.6.2024: a major demonstration of firefighting exercise in Bohinjska Bistrica, followed by a party under the tent opposite of the Bohinj Health Centre (as this is a demonstration exercise, in addition to testing the performance of the ZIR forces, there will also be a tour and expert commentary of the exercise for citizens and tourists)
 – 30.6.2024: Firefighters’ parade through Bohinjska Bistrica (state road temporarily closed!), followed by a party under the tent (opposite the Bohinj Health Centre).
