This year, Nomenj will once again shine in a festive atmosphere, as the magical Christmas village reopens in December. The Christmas village will be illuminated throughout the festive season, so you can visit it at any time. Hot tea and mulled wine will be provided at events, and you can warm yourself by the garden fire.

Program of festive events:

December 6, 2025, at 5 p.m. – Lighting of the lights and performance by the Bohinj Brass Band
December 21, 2025, at 4 p.m. – Visit by the eagerly awaited Santa Claus
January 1, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. – Traditional hike to the Grmečica waterfall, meeting point at the Nomenj railway station
