Harp sound therapy is used abroad as a pain relief and anti-stress therapy in hospitals and hospices. Other instruments used in sound therapy, such as drums, Tibetan bowls, gongs, tuning forks and soothing shakers, produce sounds and vibrations that mimic nature and are tuned to specific frequencies that are proven to have healing effects on the whole body, emotions and mind.

WHO WILL GUIDE YOU:

ANJA GABERC is a harpist with extensive national and international experience. She is the recipient of the Prešeren Prize of the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, the prize at the International Competition for Young Musicians in Genoa and the International Petar Konjović Competition in Belgrade. In 2005 she was the only Slovenian representative at the 9th World Harp Congress in Dublin and gave a solo concert in Ireland.
Today she performs in chamber ensembles, collaborates with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ljubljana National Philharmonic Orchestra and the RTV Sinfonika. In addition to concerts, she is dedicated to teaching young people, and since 2008 she has been a full-time professor at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet. Anja likes to spend her free time in nature, doing yoga or reading books.

TANJA KOVAČIČ is a creative and sound psychotherapist. Most of her life and work experience has been gained abroad. From studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, managing galleries and art auctions on cruise ships, to studying Intermodal Creative Psychotherapy at the Ikon Institute of Australia and Sound Therapy at the Academy of Sound Healing International.
She became involved with sound at a young age, coming from a family of musicians. In the last few years she has started to use sound for therapeutic purposes, which she does today in regular weekly Deep Rest practices in Ljubljana, as well as in individual sessions, workshops and retreats. Tanja likes to spend her time by the sea, exploring new music, listening to podcasts, creating and reading.
