BistricaFEST

BistricaFEST is a series of summer concerts that takes place on select Saturday evenings in front of the Joža Ažman Cultural Center in Bohinjska Bistrica, creating a lively, relaxed, and pleasant outdoor atmosphere.

The festival brings together high-quality music, summer socializing, creative content, and local offerings. On festival evenings, the area in front of the cultural center transforms into an open-air venue where locals, visitors, musicians, artists, and anyone who enjoys summer evenings with a great atmosphere come together.

This year’s BistricaFEST 2026 features a particularly diverse program. The stage will feature urban rap beats, indie and pop rock, R&B and soul, as well as swing-themed evenings. The music program is complemented by accompanying events such as art markets, vinyl record fairs, a used book fair organized by the Bohinjska Bistrica Library, and local offerings, which together create a relaxed summer atmosphere for all generations.

BistricaFEST is more than just a concert night—it’s a summer gathering in the heart of Bohinjska Bistrica, where music, creativity, and socializing come together to create an authentic Saturday experience.

All concerts are free of charge. In case of inclement weather, the events will be moved indoors to the Joža Ažman Cultural Center.
