During the Autumn Holiday, from 25 October to 2 November, Bohinj’s caterers will be offering special autumn menus. They will treat you to a selection of seasonal dishes highlighting the rich flavours of autumn.

Walks through Bohinj’s autumn countryside take you past gardens ripening with fresh produce and orchards full of juicy fruit. Nature gives us even more at this time of year – fragrant mushrooms hiding in the forests and delicious chestnuts inviting you to pick them. All these autumn delicacies are lovingly transferred to the kitchens of the Bohinjsko/From Bohinj-certified taverns and restaurants, where chefs transform them into true culinary masterpieces.

The third most visited attraction in Slovenia. A spectacular waterfall, hidden amidst the steep walls of the Komarča. The beginning of Slovenia’s longest and second shortest river.
The Mostnica is an alpine river with rapids and waterfalls, offering an interesting display of nature’s creativity through the Voje Valley and all the way to Stara Fužina.
Vogel is an ideal starting point for short and longer hiking tours (more than 1000 metres above Lake Bohinj, guided tours available) and winter adventures.
