NOVEMBER OPENING TIMES
November brings quieter days to Bohinj, as nature prepares for winter and some of our providers take time for a well-deserved break. However, there are still plenty of places open for visitors to enjoy the local flavours, activities and offers that enrich every visit to Bohinj.
In the overview below, we’ve compiled the current opening times of restaurants, accommodation and other local providers so that you can plan your visit to Bohinj with complete peace of mind.
Restaurants and accommodation
– Štrud’l Inn: open every day, kitchen is closed on Tuesdays.
– Guesthouse Danica: closed between 4 November and 5 December.
– Hotel Tripič, restaurant and pizzeria Tripič: closed from 11 November to 20 December.
– Štacion Guesthouse: open daily.
– Bohinj Eco Hotel: closed from 4 to 21 November.
– Sunrose 7 Hotel: closed from 4 and 15 November and from 18 to 22 November. November.
– Hotel Bohinj: closed from 11 to 15 November.
– Hotel Jezero: closed on 11 and 12 November.
– Hotel Kristal and Restaurant Pri lovcu: closed from 4 November. The date of reopening has not yet been set.
– Foksner Snack Bar: closed from 5 November. The date of reopening has not yet been set.
– Restaurant Rožič: closed from 11. to 17 November.
– Hotel Center Bohinjsko jezero: closed until 23. 12. 2024.
– Restaurant Majerca: open every week from Thursday to Sunday.
– Pri Hrvatu Inn: Closed from 18 November to 1 December.
– Restaurant Rupa: closed from 11 November to 11 December.
– Pizzeria Ukanc: closed from 4 November. The date of reopening has not yet been set.
– AlpineHomestead Gorjuše: open, reservation is required.
– Guesthouse Lajnar: closed from 2 to 28 November.
– Hotel Jelka: closed from 1 October. The date of reopening has not yet been set.
– Hotel Pokljuka: open daily.
– Orožnova koča na planini za Liscem: open every week from Thursday afternoon to Sunday evening.
– Koča na Vojah: closed for November. Afterward, open weekends and during school holidays.
– Koča na Uskovnici the restaurant is open from Friday to Sunday between 11 AM and 4 PM (except in case of bad weather). Overnight stays are currently not available. The hut will be fully operational again from December 15, 2024.
– Kosijev dom na Vogarju: open on weekends. During Christmas and New Year holidays, open every day.
– Dom na Komni: closed from 1 November. Re-opening is scheduled for the second half of December.
– Koča pod Bogatinom: closed until the Christmas-New Year holidays.
MOUNTAIN HUTS CLOSED UNTIL THE 2025 SEASON

Campsites and caravan parks
Camp Bohinj has closed its site for the 2024 season, while Camp Danica remains open all year round. Camp on Soriška planina will be closed from 2 to 28 November. The caravan parks Senožeta – Srednja vas, Kobla Bohinjska Bistrica and ŽP Bohinjska Bistrica are closed.
Ski center Vogel
Due to routine maintenance work, the cable car will be out of service from 4 to 10 November . Po zaključku del bo nihalka obratovala vsak dan od 8:00 do 16:00.
Aquapark Bohinj
Aquapark Bohinj will be closed for routine maintenance work from 4 to 21 November. .
From November 22 onwards, the Aquapark Bohinj will be open as follows: Monday to Thursday from 12 PM to 8 PM, Friday from 12 PM to 9 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday from 9 AM to 8 PM.
Museums in Bohinj
Bohinj History Museum, Alpine Dairy Famring Museum and Oplen House Museum are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 12 PM and from 4 PM to 6 PM in November. Historia Bohinj museum collection is open from Wednesday to Friday between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM and on Saturdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Panoramic boat
The season of panoramic boat rides on Lake Bohinj came to an end on 3 November. The boat will start running again in spring 2025.
