The Kotniks have two apiaries. One stands next to the house in Bohinjska Češnjica, while the other, a movable one, is hosted at various locations in the Bohinj area. This is where the hard-working bees collect pollen in the surrounding forests during the honey harvest. Kotnik’s honey also boasts the prestigious Slovenian honey with geographical indication label, which is subject to stricter quality criteria.
