Trdinka is not only special because of its colourful colours, but also because it contains many vitamins and minerals, which can be enjoyed in dishes made with chard flour. Whether it’s žganci, a pudding or a Bohinj cake.
As a young farmer, Jernej started to grow trdinka maize in a sustainable way, where, with a lot of manual work in the summer, he grows cobs of hand-grown trdinka maize.
