A playful descent down a snowy slope. A very simple experience in the fresh winter air that will put a big smile on the faces of the little ones. Especially if you join them. Sledging can take place on specific parts of the slopes and on arranged sledding areas.
SLEDDING SLOPES IN BOHINJ
Soriška planina
A children’s sledding track is available every day next to the Slatnik ski slope during the ski resort’s opening hours. The sledding track is suitable for younger children. Parents and children can enjoy winter fun on the 300 metres of sledding area.
Pokljuka
The Pokljuka Family Ski Centre has a sledding track next to the ski resort, offering fun and winter fun for the whole family.
Srednja vas
The sledding track is located on the slopes of the Senožeta Sports Centre, where you can also enjoy a groomed ski slope with a children’s ski lift, ideal for families and the youngest winter enthusiasts.

Suitable sledging equipment:
Sledding can be done with a variety of equipment such as sledges, bobsleighs, inflatable tubes, sledding shovels, sledge mats and boards. The use of helmets is particularly recommended for children and anyone going down steeper slopes.

Sledge rental
Regular wooden sledges and pležuh are available for hire. During night sledging on Soriška planina, sledges adapted for attachment to the ski lift are also available for hire.

Important
Sledging is carried out at your own risk. We recommend that younger children are accompanied by an adult. Be aware of other visitors on the sledding slope and stick to the marked runs.

Night sledding on Soriška planina
Night sledding is an attractive winter activity on Soriška planina, offering a unique experience for adrenaline lovers.
The Slatnik ski lift takes you to the top of the sledding track, and then you descend back down the illuminated run to the starting point of the lift. Specially adapted sledges are used for sledging, which can be towed by the ski lift.
