Zlatorog Fairy Trail

The Zlatorog Fairy Tale Trail takes you through the world of Bohinj folk tales, where nine fairy tale heroes await you along the way. The circular trail is approximately 2 kilometres long, so you can walk along it for an hour or a whole day, depending on your pace and your desire to explore. Along the way, there are suggestions for family activities that you can do in nature – either on the fairy trail itself or anywhere else you go on a family nature exploration.

Yoga with Tamara: Hatha Flow in Bohinj House

Join us for a yoga class where we will focus on mindful stretching, deep breathing and finding flow through movement. The class will be held in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere where you will be able to discover the magic of Hatha Flow Yoga, which combines elements of breath, meditation and physical postures (asanas).⁣ ⁣ What can you expect?⁣ In this class we will explore the Hatha Yoga postures, integrating them into a smooth choreography of movement and breath. The class begins with a short meditation and breathing exercises, followed by a sun salutation warm-up, then gentle transitions between static postures that activate the whole body. The aim of the practice is to achieve greater body awareness and calm the mind. Night Sledding on Soriška planina

Experience a unique winter adventure on Soriška planina with night sledding on an illuminated track. The ascent to the top is made with the Slatnik ski lift, followed by an exhilarating ride down the groomed slope back to the starting point. Specially designed sleds are provided, as only sleds adapted for lift transport can be used. Personal sleds are not allowed. Due to a limited number of sleds, reservations are required. With a licensed guide, you’ll explore the enchanting surroundings of Ribčev Laz, with the soft glow of lanterns lighting your path. In a relaxed pace, you’ll experience a one-hour guided walk offering a unique opportunity for a different kind of evening adventure. Along the way, you’ll learn interesting facts about the Church of St. John the Baptist, uncover the rich history of Triglav National Park and Lake Bohinj, and listen to local stories and legends that add a special charm to Bohinj. This activity is perfect for all generations – romantic and relaxing for adults, exciting and mysterious for children. The path is flat and easy, making it suitable for all ages.

Winter Hiking Experience

Experience an unforgettable winter adventure in the heart of Bohinj! A magical snow-covered landscape, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Julian Alps, invites you to explore and relax in nature. When snow conditions allow, the hike is conducted with snowshoes, making the experience even more special and unique. This snowy adventure lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on the conditions and group dynamics. Winter lovers will be thrilled by the beauty of Bohinj while ensuring a safe and relaxed enjoyment of the pristine nature.

Forest therapy, also known as forest bathing or Shinrin-Yoku, is a practice that promotes health, well-being, and a deeper connection with nature and oneself through guided experiences in the forest.
